Nicole is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist; she got her Master’s from the University of San Diego and her Bachelors in Psychology and minor of Child Development from San Jose State university.
Previously, Nicole worked at a PHP and IOP level of care with children and teens recovering from eating disorders and other mental health challenges. While working there Nicole learned how to apply Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in group and individual therapy. Nicole believes that evidence-based treatment along with caring providers is key for recovery.
Nicole is passionate about working with teens and supporting them in their recovery journey. She is eager to continue her growth as a therapist by gaining more training and experience with Family-Based Treatment (FBT). Nicole is warm, energetic and empathetic during therapy sessions.
