Faina Birman is a board certified Nurse Practitioner in Adolescent and Adult Medicine. Faina received her Nurse Practitioner degree from University of California, San Francisco in 2004.
Prior to joining The Healthy Teen Project, Faina worked in inpatient (ICU/CCU, Los Gatos Community Hospital) and outpatient (Primary Care Clinic, San Mateo Medical Center) settings.
As a Primary Care Provider, she provided medical care to clients with a wide range of medical and mental health diagnoses from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
She also worked as a Clinical Program Coordinator at Los Gatos Community Hospital and a Clinical Faculty/Lecturer for RN students at San Jose State University.
She loves working with people, feels genuine compassion towards her clients, has excellent listening skills, and uses a detail-oriented holistic approach.
In her free time, Faina loves gardening, cooking, and spending time with her two teenage kids, family, and friends.
