Assessment
HTP will conduct a comprehensive assessment prior to admission in order to assess each client’s medical, psychological and social history and determine the appropriate level of care. These assessments generally take about two hours and can be conducted in person or over secure video conference or phone. Prior to your appointment, you and your caregiver(s) will receive a packet which includes documents to complete and/or review in advance. Assessments will be conducted with clients and caregivers (if appropriate) and will often require the collection of relevant information from the various professionals that are a part of your current and past treatment teams.
Should the assessment recommendation be admission to HTP, this assessment data is used to support the treatment team in designing an individualized treatment plan.
In the case where HTP might not be the most appropriate treatment program to address your needs we will help you find a treatment resource that does.
Insurance
As part of the admissions process HTP will verify your insurance benefits to determine what portion of treatment (if any) you are financially responsible for. Prior to admission, our team will make every effort to verify insurance benefits and educate clients and caregivers about possible financial obligations associated with their treatment.
