Royanne is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California who earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Royanne’s clinical experience includes working with teens, adults, and families in both private practice and treatment program settings.
Royanne holds an integrative approach to psychotherapy and draws from a variety of modalities including Contemporary Psychoanalysis, Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Family Based Treatment (FBT). Royanne is a passionate holistic healer who takes into account social and cultural backgrounds so she can tailor her treatment approach to each of her client’s unique needs. In a session with Royanne, clients will be met with warm empathy and containing directness. Royanne meets her clients where they are so they can collaboratively unpack how their pasts may be shaping their lives, and how internalized messages and patterns could be clouding authentic feelings.
Along with supporting clients in their eating disorder recovery, Royanne works with individuals dealing with transitions, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, loss, and trauma; and supports them in relationship development, crisis management, coping skills, personal growth, and increasing mindfulness.
