Dr. Francesca Lalli is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California. After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Padua (Italy), she moved to the Bay Area and received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Sofia University (Palo Alto, CA) with a dissertation on the correlation between shame and self-compassion in a group of women at risk of developing an eating disorder.
Her academic training includes psychodynamic orientation, evidenced-based and mindfulness-based techniques. Her experience includes general mental health, substance use, eating disorders and cancer diagnosis. Dr. Lalli has extensive experience treating eating disorders in adolescents and adults and has worked in the residential, PHP/IOP and outpatient settings. Her approach is client-centered, collaborative and eclectic, with a focus on creating a safe and supportive connection with her clients. She strives to honor, respect and foster the clients’ unique journey and to provide empathetic care and presence to clients and their families.
