Jess is a psychological associate who received her PhD in Clinical/ Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia University, Palo Alto. She has experience providing eating disorder treatment at residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care. Jess provides a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to care, and integrates evidence-based modalities to offer individualized, collaborative treatment.
Her doctoral research focused on applying transpersonal interventions to transform smartphone attachment. She has taught assessment at the graduate level and has previous experience facilitating educationally related mental health service assessments as part of developing individualized education plans.
Jess integrates her previous experience with assessment and her research on transformation into the Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) + modified Family-Based Treatment (FBT) she provides in support of adolescents and their families recovery journeys at HTP.
